Ask the office manager
They stop what they're doing, pull it together by hand, and get back to you in an hour — or tomorrow. The answer is good. The bottleneck is a person, and it doesn't scale past them.
Live Job Cost
Anyone on your team can ask about a job, a crew, a client or a number — in plain English — and get it back straight away. No dashboards to build. No analyst to wait on. And your records never leave your own Microsoft 365.
See it workThe problem
Most contractors already have the data. It's in the accounting system, the job management tool, six spreadsheets and somebody's inbox. Getting a straight answer out of it takes one of three routes, and all three cost you.
They stop what they're doing, pull it together by hand, and get back to you in an hour — or tomorrow. The answer is good. The bottleneck is a person, and it doesn't scale past them.
Someone learns a BI tool, builds a dashboard, and it answers exactly the question it was built for. The next question needs a new dashboard. Then the person who built it leaves.
The most common one. The question isn't worth the hassle, so nobody asks — and decisions get made on a feel for the numbers rather than the numbers.
What we do
You type the question the way you'd say it out loud. It comes back either as a single straight sentence, or as a full report you can read, sort and print.
Name a person, a vendor, a client, a job or a status and it knows what a complete answer looks like for that kind of thing. A person profiles differently from a project, and it treats them differently — consistently, every time.
Every report comes back as an interactive page you can read on screen and print clean to one page, and as a structured Excel file. Nobody has to argue about which one they wanted.
What you call a change order, a T&M ticket or a retainage hold is what it calls them. That vocabulary lives in one plain-language file, so refining it is an edit, not a development project.
Ask on a company page and the report renders right there. Ask from a message thread and you get a link back that opens the same report — without anyone having to re-type the question.
Where your data sits
This is the part most people ask about first, so here it is plainly, including the nuance.
Your operational data lives in your own Microsoft 365 and stays there. We don't take a copy, and we don't become a second place your business information is stored.
When someone asks a question, the system works out what to retrieve, then pulls and calculates it where the data already lives. Only the specific rows needed to answer that one question are sent — not stored — to our AI service. Not your database. Not a nightly export. The rows for that question, used to write that answer, and then gone.
People sign in with the Microsoft login they already have. There's no new account to create, no new password, and no separate list of users to keep tidy.
Who it's for
If your work lives in spreadsheets and SharePoint and you've been putting off "getting proper reporting," this is built for you.
Which jobs are bleeding, and how badly — without waiting for month-end to find out.
Where a job stands on cost and hours right now, in the middle of a call, not after it.
Stop being the report department. The people who used to ask you can now just ask.
A straight answer from a phone, in a message thread, without opening anything.
Two minutes, and it's the honest first question — if we can't reach your data, nothing else matters. Tell us where it lives and we'll tell you straight.
