The Keep-Half Deal
If we don't save you money, you don't pay us.
We take the office work that eats your week and make it take less time. You keep half of what that saves, we're paid the other half, and after a year it's all yours. Nothing up front. If it saves nothing, it costs nothing.
The problem
You've been asked to pay for a promise before
Every outside fix for the office works the same way. You pay first, and find out later whether it was worth it.
The money goes first
A deposit, a setup fee, a contract signed up front. It's a lot to hand a company you've never done business with, and once it's paid it's gone.
The promise is vague
“It'll save you time.” How much? Worth what? Nobody says, so nobody can ever be held to it.
If it doesn't work, that's your loss
They still got paid. You're out the money, out the hours you spent on it, and back where you started.
The deal
We only get paid out of what we save you
This is the whole of it. There is no other fee.
- To start $0 no deposit, no setup fee
- If it doesn't save you money $0 not a smaller bill, no bill
- If you decide you don't want it cancel any time, no questions asked; nothing more is billed
- When it does save you money we split it half stays with you, half is our fee, for twelve months
- Support for the first year free a full year of support, included at no charge
- After twelve months all of it is yours every hour saved from then on, for good
An example, not a result: if a job that used to eat ten hours of your office's week now takes four, that's six hours saved. You keep three hours' worth, and our fee is the other three, at what an hour of that person's time costs you, agreed in writing before we start.
In writing, before you commit to anything
Six guarantees
We carry the risk, so you don't have to take our word for anything.
Nothing up front
No deposit, no setup fee, nothing to start. The first money you ever pay us comes out of a saving that's already happened.
No saving, no bill
If it doesn't save you money, you owe nothing. Not a smaller fee. Nothing.
Cancel any time, no questions asked
If you decide you don't want it, at any point, for any reason or none, say so. That's the end of it, and nothing more is ever billed.
Every number in writing
The split, the twelve months and what an hour is worth are agreed and written down before anything changes. Nothing on our bill is a surprise.
It ends
Twelve months, then the split stops. Every hour saved after that is yours, and we never send another bill for it.
A straight no if we can't help
We're only paid out of savings, so work we can't improve is work we'd be doing for free. If we look and can't see a real saving, we'll say so plainly, and it will have cost you nothing.
How this goes
A day to a plan. Then we get on with it.
You tell us what eats the week
The office job you'd most like back, and roughly how often it comes round. Two minutes, in the form below.
24 hours later, a written plan
Which work we'd take on, what we're aiming to get it down to, and what that's worth to you in a year. Free, and yours either way.
We put the deal in writing
The split, the twelve months and every number in it, agreed before anything changes. Nothing has cost you anything yet.
We make the change
Don't want it? Cancel any time, and nothing more is billed. A full year of support comes with it, free.
We split what it saves
Half is our fee, half stays with you, for twelve months. Then all of it is yours.
Said up front
Why we'd rather say no than waste your time
We only win if you do
Every hour we spend on work that doesn't save you money is an hour we aren't paid for. So we have every reason to pick work where the saving is real, make it as big as we can, and tell you early if it isn't there. Neither of us gets anything out of a job that goes nowhere.
What we'll say no to
- Work that needs hands, vehicles or a physical site
- Anything a licensed professional has to sign — we can prepare what they sign, we can't be them
- Work that's already about as fast as it'll go — if we can't see a real saving, we won't pretend to
- Anything where nobody could tell whether it worked — a saving you can't see isn't one you should pay for
Takes about two minutes
Tell us what eats your office's week
Five questions, and rough answers are fine. Working out the detail is our job, not yours.
The things people ask first
Straight answers
What does it cost?
Half of what it saves you, for twelve months. That's the only price there is. If it saves a lot, we both do well. If it saves a little, you pay a little. If it saves nothing, you pay nothing.
What if we just don't like it?
Then cancel, any time. No reason needed, nothing more is billed, and no hard feelings.
What happens after the change is made?
You're not on your own. A full year of support is included, free. If something needs our attention, we take care of it at no charge.
What exactly are you going to change?
We don't know yet, and anybody who tells you before they've looked is guessing. What we can tell you is what you'll have before you commit: the work we'd take on, what we're aiming to get it down to, and what that's worth to you, in writing.
We won't decide what your problem is before we've seen it. That's how you end up paying for somebody's favourite fix instead of your own answer.
Why would you take all the risk?
Because asking you to pay up front on our say-so is the exact problem this deal exists to fix. If we're as good as we say, the saving pays us. If we're not, you shouldn't be paying.
Who else have you done this for?
This is a new offer and we're not going to invent a reference for you. What we'll do instead is take nothing up front, put every number in writing, let you cancel any time, and only get paid out of money we've already saved you. That's worth more than a name you can't check.
